What We Believe

What We Believe

Concordia Baptist Church believes in and adheres to the teachings of Jesus Christ and purposes to maintain public worship, study and pursue righteous living as revealed by the Holy Scriptures, and fulfill the Great Commission as instructed by Christ.

We work in cooperation with and support the Missouri Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.

The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of "The Baptist Faith and Message" as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.

Concordia Baptist Church believes...

that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, inerrant in its original manuscripts and sufficient for equipping the saints for good works.

that there is one God, who exists in the three eternal, co-equal persons of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

mankind is totally depraved in nature and unable to save himself; therefore, salvation is by grace through faith.

Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father and salvation is found in no other name.

salvation begins when, under the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, an individual recognizes their sinfulness, repents of their sins and believe that Jesus is the sinless Son of God who has paid for their sins with His death on the cross.
